Fair Park | Downtown Dallas
This 277-acre outdoor complex has been a fairground since 1886. It hosted the Texas Centennial Exposition in 1936. Various local attractions (the Hall of State, the Children’s Aquarium) are located here, and the park holds more than 1,200 events a year, including the Texas State Fair. A centerpiece during the fair is the Texas Star, a Ferris wheel 65.8 meters tall, with 44 gondolas.

Frontiers of Flight Museum | Dallas Love Field Airport

It has more than 30 aircraft and space vehicles on display, plus 13 galleries and exhibits, including artifacts from the Hindenburg, details about Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart, and a full-size model of the Wright Brothers’ 1903 Wright Flyer.
Fort Worth Botanic Gardens | Fort Worth
Located in the heart of the Fort Worth Cultural District, just minutes from downtown, this 120-acre treasure offers stunning garden views, exciting exhibits, and more.
