VETERANS DAY
At Kindred Homes, we are proud to serve those who have served us. To honor and recognize the sacrifice of our military personnel and active duty service members, we have launched a new program to express our gratitude. For every home that is purchased from Kindred Homes by an individual who served in the military or are on active duty, we are providing a complimentary United States flag, pole, and a professionally installed mounting bracket. We hope that this small token of appreciation will help show how thankful we are to our military personnel.
Thank you to all who have served our country!
TOYS FOR TOTS
At Kindred Homes, we understand the importance of cherishing our time with loved ones and helping out those in need. That’s why each year we partner with Toys for Tots to give back to the community and support families who may not be able to provide toys for their children during the holidays. We invite everyone to join us in this effort by donating new, unwrapped toys at any of our locations throughout November and early December. We are committed to providing an atmosphere of charity and goodwill in every one of our communities and firmly believe in the positive impact that donating can have on families and individuals. So, this holiday season, please consider stopping by a Kindred Home near you and making a donation. Together, we can make a difference for those who need it most. Thank you for your support!
"The mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is to assist the U. S. Marine Corps in providing a tangible sign of hope to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas. This assistance includes providing day-to-day leadership and oversight of the Program, raising funds to provide toys to supplement the collections of local Toys for Tots Campaigns, to provide promotional and support material and defray the costs of conducting annual Toys for Tots Campaigns."
WALK TO END ALZHEIMER'S
Kindred Homes is proud to continue our partnership with the Alzheimer's Association in their ongoing efforts to raise funds and awareness for those affected by dementia. While the specific details of future Walks to End Alzheimer's® are yet to be confirmed, we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting this cause.
Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming participation in the Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Together, we can continue to make a meaningful impact in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.
"The Alzheimer's Association® is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Founded in 1980 by a group of family caregivers and individuals interested in research, the Association includes our home office in Chicago, a public policy office in Washington, D.C. and a presence in communities across the country.
An estimated 55 million people worldwide are living with dementia. In the United States alone, more than 6 million have Alzheimer’s, and over 11 million are providing unpaid care. The Association addresses this crisis by providing education and support to the millions who face dementia every day, while advancing critical research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure."
MARCH OF DIMES
Healthy Moms. Strong Babies. On Mother's Day, Kindred Homes proudly honors mothers everywhere by donating to March of Dimes, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health of all mothers and babies. We at Kindred Homes recognize that this gift is only a small token of our appreciation for all the hard work, dedication, and love that mothers provide for their families every day. Happy Mother's Day!
Since 1938, March of Dimes has been providing crucial healthcare resources to mothers and babies in need. Their research has led to significant medical advancements, improvements in the quality of care and a reduction in infant mortality rates. They continue to support research, lead programs, and advocate for all families to ensure that every mother and baby receives the best health care possible.
The donation to March of Dimes will be used to fund groundbreaking research, advance medical care and treatments, and provide access to important health services like prenatal visits and newborn screenings. It will also go towards providing educational materials, advocating for public policies that protect moms and babies, and supporting families in need. Kindred's contribution will help ensure that all mothers and babies have the best start in life.
